The Chinese Broadsword's history ranges far back, beyond even written history. Having a single sharpened side and originaly called a Saber, the traditional Broadsword that we know today, was perfected in the Ming Dynasty. The Broadsword "Saber" in earlier forms was often mentioned in Chinese writings. Even in the Three Kingdoms period, 2nd to 3rd century AD, famed warrior Lu Meng used a Saber and Shield to stop the great warriors Ling Tong and Gan Ning, from battling to the death at a banquet.
This is our Premium Chinese Wu Su Broadsword. We also have a Basic Broadsword. The Dragon Saber is constructed of Wushu steel and includes a nicely decorated scabbard. The blade is nearly twice as "thick" as our basic level sword.
The sword measures 28 1/2" x 2 1/2". The width of the sword tapers as with all Chinese Broadswords. The blade has a small dragon engraved in it.
The buyer will pay $15.00 for USPS Priority S/H within the United States.
